Warren Ray Allen

May 30, 1954 - September 19, 2020

PLYMOUTH – Warren Ray Allen of Plymouth, formerly of Walkerton, passed away on Saturday September 19, 2020 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend following an illness. He was born on May 30, 1935 in Paintsville, KY to the late William and Minnie Allen and was 85 years-old at the time of his death. He lived in the area most of his life, and on June 12, 1954 in Grovertown he married the love of his life Mary Ann Erickson, who also precedes his death. Warren retired from a career as a welder for New York Blower and served for many years as the Oregon Township Trustee. He was also a member of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church, was a 25-year member of the Koontz Lake Volunteer Fire Department, was a former Oregon-Davis School Board Member and former member of Starke County Council on Aging. Warren is survived by: one daughter Vicki Allen of Noblesville, IN; one son Randy (Debbie) Allen of Marco Island, FL; four grandchildren Krystal (Tim) Kovis of Naples, FL, Brooke (Jared) List of Crete, NE, Jamie (Stephanie) Allen of Elwood, IN, and Jennifer (Tom) Yegerlehner of Westfield, IN; seven great-grandchildren Peyton, Logan, Jaxson, Melina, Amara, Christian, and Ava; four sisters Eva Rice, Ruth Howard, Ruby Minix, and Madge Whickcar all of Walkerton; and two brothers Clifford Allen of Plymouth and William Allen of Bradenton, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one grandson Derrick Allen, three brothers and four sisters. Private Funeral Services will be conducted with burial following in Grovertown Cemetery. Memorial donations in Warren’s name may be given to the Koontz Lake Missionary Church.
