Vivian D. Matusiak

May 18, 1934 - February 14, 2012

GROVERTOWN-Vivian D. Matusiak, 77, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor, Plymouth, IN. Mrs. Matusiak was born May 18, 1934 in Gary, IN to Victor and Julia (Basinski) Cohut Sr. and lived in the area for 46 years, coming from Hobart, IN. On October 22, 1955 in Gary, IN she was married to Daniel K. Matusiak Sr., who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Cynthia (Andrew) Finley of Gloucester, VA; one son, Daniel (Janet) Matusiak Jr. of Koontz Lake; grandchildren, Nathan (Genise) Finley, Joshua (Jamie) Finley, Chad and Kassondra (Frankie Lonigro) Matusiak, Leah (Scott) Holleman, and Jordan and Carsen Heim; great-grandson, Ayden Matusiak and brother, Victor (Jean) Cohut Jr. of Hope Mills, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of St. Patricks Church, Walkerton, where she was a member of the Rosary Society and a CCD Teacher at the church for 16 years. She was also a former employee of Farm Bureau Insurance in Plymouth. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time) in St. Patricks Church, Walkerton. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. CT and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be at the Grovertown Cemetery.
