Umberto "Big Al" Rivosecchi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

WALKERTON-Umberto "Big Al" Rivosecchi, 82, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, IN. Mr. Rivosecchi was born June 7, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Camillo and Lucia (Del Boccio) Rivosecchi and lived in the area for thirty-eight years, coming from Chicago. On August 20, 1951 in Chicago he was married to the former Jeanette Gross, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ronald (Alice) Rivosecchi of Wood Dale, IL and Richard (Cathy) Rivosecchi of Koontz Lake; two daughters, Brenda (Richard Fulton) Rivosecchi of Walkerton and Sharon (Tim) Pulliam of Plymouth; one sister, Dora Gallicho of Lansing, IL; one brother, Mario (Connie) Rivosecchi of Melrose Park, IL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dominic. Mr. Rivosecchi was a former plumber-pipefitter with Local 172 of South Bend. He was the co-owner, with his wife Jeanette, of Al's Bait Shop of Koontz Lake. He was an avid motorcyclist for over fifty years and will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel with Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET at the funeral home.
