Ronald Trusty Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

NORTH JUDSON – Ronald Trusty of North Judson passed away at 10:08 AM on Saturday May 8, 2021 in Northwest Health LaPorte Hospital following an illness. He was born on January 11, 1953 in Dayton, OH to the late Johnie and Roberta (Jones) Trusty and was 68 years-old at the time of his death. He lived in the area most of his life and was a retired Millwright. Ron married the love of his life Pamela Rudd on March 31, 1972 in Toto and they shared 49 wonderful years together. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Ron never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. Most of all he loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron is survived by his loving wife Pam of North Judson; two daughters Robin Trusty of South Bend and Rhonda (Joe) Cleveland of Rochester; two sons Ronald C. (Jen) Trusty of North Judson and Raymond (Lisa) Trusty of Winamac; nine grandchildren Madison (Ryan) Salczynski, David Begley, Christopher Trusty. Renae Begley, Mathew Cleveland, Kaitlyn Cleveland, Annabelle Trusty, Gabriella Trusty, and Lily Trusty; three great grandchildren Aiden, Adelynn, and MaKenna; special family friend Lori Smolek; two sisters Mary Masterson of Kingsford Heights, and Martha Branscom of Plymouth; three brothers Donald Trusty of Knox, Jim (Cindy) Trusty of LaPorte, and Richard (Becky) Trusty of Plymouth; and his father-in-law Clyde Rudd of North Judson. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Antona Trusty, David Trusty, and Dennis Trusty. Funeral services will be at 11:00 CDT Friday May 14 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 CDT Thursday May 13, and on Friday one hour prior to the funeral also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fletcher Cemetery.
