HAMLET-Richard J. Abraham, 71, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka, IN. Mr. Abraham was born September 13, 1938 in Mishawaka, IN to Michael and Esther (Sullivan) Abraham and lived in the area for six years, coming from Plymouth. He was a past member of St. Monica Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Richard Abraham Jr. of Hamlet; three daughters, Jackie Zima of South Bend, Tina Rix and Jaunita Marcone, both of Kalamazoo; four step-sons, Brian Guernsey of Elkhart, Charles Miltenberger and Edward Miltenberger, both of South Bend and Daniel Miltenberger of Hamlet; one step-daughter, Patricia Siders of Mishawaka, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two brothers, Herb Abraham of Mishawaka and Charles Abraham of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tony Smith; one sister and one brother. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel is handling arrangements.
