KNOX-Peggy Lynn Trusty, 56, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Porter health Valparaiso Campus, Valparaiso, IN. Mrs. Trusty was born April 11, 1955 in Knox, IN to Floyd and Inez (Osborne) Earnest and lived in the area most of her life. On October 4, 1973 in Knox, IN she was married to Clarence Trusty, who survives. Also surviving are: her mother, Inez Earnest of Ober; three daughters, Michelle (Ken) Rowe of Knox, Misty (Tim) Marsh of Stanton, KY and Amanda (Shawn) Henderson of Stanton, KY; one son, Merle (Cindy) Trusty of Stanton, KY; six grandchildren, Brittany and Cody Rowe, Tinisha Trusty, Andrew and Autumn Marsh and Logan Henderson; two sisters, Brenda (Terry) McDaniel of North Judson and Linda Jacobs of Detroit and four brothers, June (Linda) Earnest of Knox, Larry (Peggy) Earnest of Ober, Steve (Hazel) Earnest of Knox and Mike Earnest of Knox. She was preceded in death by her father and two nephews, Steve Earnest and Sammy Allen. Peggy was a bus driver for the Starke County Council on Aging. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday after 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
