Olive Irene Goze

October 18, 1927 - August 20, 2020

Olive Irene Goze PLYMOUTH – Olive Irene Goze (Irene as she was known by most) passed away on Thursday August 20, 2020 in her home following an illness. She was the fourth born child into a family of ten children on October 18, 1927 in Lakeville to the late Japer A. and Marie (Millard) Biers. She lived in the area her entire life and retired from United Technologies in Plymouth. On December 24, 1945 she married the late Victor Goze and they celebrated 63 wonderful years together. Irene was a member of the Koontz Lake Missionary Church. She was also a very hard worker that loved gardening and canning. Most of all she especially cherished her family deeply. Irene is survived by: one daughter G. Jeane (Rich) Aman of Plymouth; three grandchildren Staci (Scott) Jennings of Tippecanoe, Vikki (Jason) Smith of Columbus, OH, and Ronald Victor (Kirin Northam) Goze of South Bend; seven great grandchildren Mallorie (Derek) Sellers, Hannah (Drew) Mosson, Courtney Jennings, Alyssa (Patrick) Reese, Leon Victor Hyde, Tommy Goze, and Olivia Goze; one great-great grandson Daxton G. Sellers; and two sisters Fern Bond and Donna Hall. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Ronald G. Goze, one great grandson Garrett Jennings, five brothers and three sisters. Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 EDT on Tuesday August 25 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 EDT on Wednesday August 26 at the Koontz Lake Missionary Church with visiting hours at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Koontz Lake Missionary Church. Due to Covid-19 guidelines and requirements face masks are required inside both the Funeral Home and the Church.
