LAPORTE-Mary Lou Mullins, 63, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 in her home. Mary Lou was born May 8, 1949 in Knox, IN to Chester and Dolma (Jensen) Goble and lived in LaPorte for ten years, coming from Knox. On September 20, 1969 in Knox she was married to Leon Mullins, who survives. Also surviving are: three sons, Donald McCarty of Michigan City, Jeffery (Tia) McCarty and Leon (Shari) Mullins of LaPorte; two daughters, Belinda Mullins of LaPorte and Amy (Mike) Harness of North Dakota; eight grandchildren, Ellissa Bailey of Knox, Donny McCarty, April McCarty, Luc McCarty, Derek Olson, Julia Morris, Ethan Morris and Hannah McCarty, all of LaPorte; four sisters, Velma Duensing of LaPorte, Ruthie Kroa of Knox, Jane Standifer of Grovertown and Judy Thompson of Hamlet; five brothers, Roger Goble, Gene Goble and Dennis Goble, all of Hamlet, Don Goble of LaPorte and Dale Goble of Grovertown. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty, Shirley and Nancy and two brothers, Chester and Kenny. Mary Lou was a homemaker. She graduated from the Christ Gospel Bible Institute and was a member of the Christ Gospel Church of LaPorte. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 Noon (Central Time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will be at the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. Friends may call Monday from 5:00 to 9:00 and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Rannells Funeral Home.
