Walkerton - Marjorie Juanita Weller, 93, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at her home. Marjorie was born on January 10, 1921 to Charles and Pink Wishart in Mattoon, IL. She went to school and graduated from Mattoon Senior High School in 1938. She had four brothers and two sisters, who, along with her parents preceded her in death. She married Harold D. Weller on September 4, 1948. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2001. She worked at Harvey's Store in Walkerton for 30 years. Marjorie is survived by her children whom she loved so very much: daughters, Collette (William) Braden of Merrillville, IN and Darlene (Larry) Groves of LaPorte, IN; sons, Charles (Laura) Harris of Elkhart, IN and R. Phillip Harris of South Bend, IN; Ten Grandchildren, Monica Braden, Michelle (Mike) Coughlin, Amber (Jeffrey) Klein, Melissa (Clifton) Gilchrist, Jason (Susan) Groves, Laurie Hurtle, Charles Harris, Robert Harris, Jr., Jacob Harris, and Zachary (Dani) Harris; eleven great-grandchildren, Gretchen, Michael and Grace Hurtle, Connor and Cannon Harris, Cameron Groves, Colin, Brady, and Addi Coughlin, and Lauren and Jackson Klein; and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a member of the Walkerton United Methodist Church where her services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern Time). Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Walkerton United Methodist Church, the Hospice Foundation, or the donor's choice.
