KNOX – Larry R. Harrell of Knox, IN passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was born on April 4, 1955 in Griffith, IN to the late Verland “Doc” and Betty Harrell. He was 67 years-old at the time of his death. In the early 1970’s Larry enlisted in the Army and was a mechanic. Once honorably discharged he worked in the construction and welding industry. His hobbies included fishing, knife sharpening, collecting coins, and anything to do with wolves. His biggest passion in life was music. He was an avid guitar player and singer and was an extremely talented musician. His favorite place to be was in a room playing his guitar and singing while surrounded by family and friends. Larry is survived by his wife Carol S. Geller of Knox; one son Lance (Lori) Williams of Panorama City, CA; two daughters Jessica Harrell of Lake City, FL and Danielle (Cory) Gleitz of Plymouth, IN; one brother Craig (Joan) Bullers of Knox; three sisters Patricia Smith of Etna Green, Pamela Harrell of Warsaw, and Ronda Gray of Arizona; one brother-in-law Charles Russell of Griffith, IN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Jacque Middleton, Jerri Russell, and Verlonda (Bill) Burleson. Graveside services will be at Noon CDT (1:00 EDT) Friday, July 15, 2022 at Winamac Cemetery, Winamac, IN.
