John A. Clark

October 24, 1951 - November 18, 2021

HAMLET – John A. Clark of Hamlet, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 24, 1951 in Knox to the late Roy G. and Loretta A. (Hanselman) Clark, and was 70 years-old at the time of his death. John is survived by his wife Lisa Clark of Hamlet; one daughter Tara (Dan) Sharp of Plymouth; one son Matt (Katina) Clark of Hamlet; five grandchildren Kayla (Craig) McIntosh of Koontz Lake, Hunter (Jared) Keeling of North Liberty, Ashley (Skyler) Rice of Koontz Lake, Cameron Clark of Hamlet, and Colton Sharp of Plymouth; 5 great-grandchildren Roman and Memphis Keeling, Amelia and Brent McIntosh, and Ryker Rice. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son John Cameron Clark; one brother Roy W. Clark; and one sister Cheryl A. Arnett. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 CST Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service held at 6:00 CST also on Friday, November 26 at the funeral home. A private burial will follow at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
