WALKERTON-Elma Pratt, 92, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Pratt was born October 24, 1919 in Vest, KY to Anderson and Fairlena (Patrick) Dobson and lived in the area for most of her life, coming from Hindman, KY. On November 22, 1940 in Bulan, KY she was married to Albert Pratt, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and eight sisters. Survivors include: one daughter, Bernice Deacon of Koontz Lake; one son, Glenn Darrell Pratt of Brandon, FL; three grandchildren, Stephan Deacon, Stacey Back and Misti Ann Rackowitz; eleven great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. She was a former factory worker and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gifford, IN. Funeral services will be Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Gifford, IN. Friends may call Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be given to the church. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.
