Charlotte L. Edwards

LAPORTE-Charlotte L. (Watson) Edwards, 91, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 in her home. Mrs. Edwards was born April 25, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Millard and Florence Watson and lived in LaPorte for seven years, coming from Knox. In 1939, she was married to Lester Edwards, who preceded her in death in 1960. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Marilyn Mueller and one brother. Survivors include: three daughters, Lillian Prascak of Three Oaks, MI, Maria Edwards and Mildred Edwards, both of LaPorte; one son, Charles Edwards of Knox and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Bethel Chapel Church of LaPorte, a 55 year member of the LaPorte O.E.S. Chapter #280 and a past-member of the Washington Township Fire Department Auxiliary. She was retired from Praiso Glove Factory in Knox. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. Burial will be at the Lerch Cemetery, Knox. Friends may call Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
