Charles "Cressell" King of Knox, Indiana, passed away March 25th, 2010, in Starke Memorial Hospital. Born July 28, 1926, in Athens, Alabama, to Suthey and Tishie (Clark) King, he was 83 years of age at the time of death. He was a retired laborer with the Knox City Street Department and lived here all of his life. On January 11, 1953, in Knox, Indiana, he was married to the former Roetta Elder, who preceded him in death in December 1992. Surviving are: three sons, David (Kimberly) King of Altmont, Tennessee, Bill (Diane) King of Knox, and Jim (Debbie) King of Hamlet; one daughter, Cathy (Robert) Zebrowski of Knox; two sisters, Myrtle and Virginia; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and three sisters.
