Bearl "June" Bellinger

Walkerton - Bearl "June" Bellinger, 83, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Bellinger was born June 3, 1930 in Walkerton, IN to Harold and Inez (Watkins) Everly and lived in the area most of her life. On April 23, 1949 in North Liberty, IN, she was married to Wayne Bellinger Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her twin-sister, Pearl Thomas, brother, Benjamin Everly and granddaughter, Stephanie Bellinger. Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Dennis) Swathwood Sr. of South Bend, Veronica (Billy) Ottinger Sr. of Walkerton, and Tina (Veachel) Peters of Walkerton; one son, Wayne (Connie) Bellinger Jr. of Union Mills; two sisters, Katherine Wharton of Walkerton and Jennie (Pete) Peterson o Walkerton; seven grandchildren, Scott Hensley, Billy Ottinger Jr., Michael (Maureen) Bellinger, Andrea Ottinger, Ashley (Kevin) Moorehead, and Hannah and Kelsi Peters and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bellinger was a member of the Walkerton American Legion Post # 189 Auxiliary and was a former member of Rebekah Lodge, Walkerton. Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (Central Time) in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel with Pastor Arnold Smith. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT and Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
