Allan W Eddinger

January 14, 1952 - January 16, 2022

TYNER – Allan W. Eddinger of Tyner passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend following an illness. He was born on January 14, 1952 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Harold B. and Evelyn (Hoover) Eddinger and just turned 70 years old. He lived in the area since 1969 coming from Pennsylvania and on March 13, 1971 in Walkerton he married the love of his life Norma Sue Watts. Allan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Walkerton, and the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Tyner. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also liked gardening, mowing grass and baking cookies. Allan is survived by his beloved wife Norma of Tyner; two daughters Stacy (Tim) Vance of LaPorte and Susan (David) Hicks of Charleston, WV; one son Shawn (Jessica Yakim) Eddinger of Walkerton; four grandchildren Drew Sheffield of Windermere, FL, Derek Vance of North Dakota, Kennedy Hicks of West Virginia, and Jayne Yakim of Walkerton; eight great grandchildren Emmett, Madelynn, Breelynn, Natalyee, Klaire, Krew, Nixon, and Briggs; two brothers Ronald Eddinger of Indianapolis and Dwayne Eddinger of Wakarusa; and two sisters Kathy Hohalek of Walkerton and Karen Keeling of Walkerton. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Visiting hours will be from 5:00 – 8:00 EST Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Funeral Services will be at Noon EST Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church, Walkerton with visiting hours at the church an hour before the funeral. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton.
